Lie, Cheat and Steal…

Many claim that President Obama is brilliant and that is why he is president today.

I disagree.  What he is is an opportunist who is willing to bend or break whatever law he needs to in order to keep himself alive politically.  Witness the latest attempt by Obama to suppress Corporate donations by demanding to know where corporate donations are going.  What proves his bias is that he doesn’t seem interested in applying the same rules to the Unions.

We shouldn’t be surprised at Obama’s latest antics.  After all, he’s the one who refuses to provide his birth certificate.  He’s the one who has decided to ignore a law he signed that bans certain czars.  He uses the EPA to run circles around Congress’ bills.  He’s willing to bow to every foreign leader, and yet he insults and slurs fellow Americans.

It’s shameful that the President who has sworn to uphold the Constitution considers himself above the law and is willing to lie, cheat and steal just to stay in office.  But, we should be used to it by now.

Illegal Dreams

The Dream Act has failed.  And, the Democrats act as though justice was NOT served.

How would justice be served by allowing an illegal act to legalize the beginning of  the process of citizenship?  Illegal acts should NOT confer any benefits and citizenship is certainly a benefit!   So, there is no way to justify such a law.   Read the headline below.  The key word is ILLEGAL!

Senate Blocks Bill for Young Illegal Immigrants

Democrats don’t seem to understand the Constitution of the United States and frequently steam ahead, as Barbara Boxer promises to do, to get their way.  Witness the passage of Obamacare.  Witness the suppression of any dissent as when they called tea party members by a variety of vile names.

It is past time for our representatives to actually represent us and not try to use political maneuvers, such as the Dream Act,  to stay in office.

Martin Luther King had a dream of equality for everyone, but endorsing an illegal act is giving that criminal more power and rights than the average American citizen.

Congratulations, Congress, for choosing the right answer to whether we follow the Constitution about criminal acts, including illegal aliens, or whether we do whatever suits the politicians of the moment.

The Dream Act was an illegal dream for illegal aliens and a potential nightmare for the rest of us.  Thank goodness for the daylight of common sense that finally permeated Congress’ decision.  The result  makes for pleasant dreams to all of us who believe in the rule of Law, not the rule of politicians!
