Republicans can be losers, too!

Or, should I say that Conservatives can, and will be, losers if they continue on their anti-Trump ranting and raving?

As a fairly strong Conservative myself, I was thrilled when the Republicans had so many qualified candidates running for the Republican Presidential nomination.  I liked them all, including Donald Trump.  I liked that they all swore allegiance to whomever won the nomination.  I liked their ideas on stopping illegal immigration and on lowering the National Debt and on abolishing the horrendous  Obama-scare.  The debates were dynamic battles of wit even when the moderators tried to pit one Republican against the other.

My personal favorite was Ted Cruz.

Well, Ted lost to Donald Trump.  Did I go on tv to complain that Trump had won?  No.  Well, truly, no one asked my opinion;  but, I wouldn’t have been the one to piously proclaim that the apparent Republican nominee was not my first choice.  I do like Trump.  I do like that he speaks his mind freely and isn’t afraid to call out Clinton on her criminal activities.  I like that he smiles at people.  I like that he is an optimist with a business background.  Both his good nature and common sense should do much to reinvigorate our economy and even our American spirit which Obama and Hillary have desperately tried to suppress.  I also believe that, being a businessman, Trump will use people who are the best at their chosen field, regardless of their personal characteristics.

So, what’s not to like?

Well, many Republicans seem to hold a grudge that Trump survived the debates and even thrived when the Lieberal media sought to bring him low.  We have lost so much respect for politicians we actively supported previously and even donated to.  Romney is the biggest disappointment of all.  We donated to his campaign.  We hosted a huge sign in our yard for him.  We went out of our way to press our children and friends to vote for him.  Now, he, too, has decided he knows more than the millions of Americans who chose Trump as our standard bearer.  Paul Ryan insults Trump with faint praise and a knowing snicker when asked about what Trump does or says.  Why can’t our House Speaker simply say that Trump is the presumptive nominee and has won fairly and squarely  rather than provide future fodder for the Democrats?   All those sound bites of Republicans refusing to support Trump are already making their way into Democrats’ ads!

And, now, we come to George Will, professional pundit and know-it-all of TV fame, a real sabelotodo!  So, he knows more history than most Americans.  He undoubtedly writes and speaks more clearly than most of us.  No matter. Contrary to what the “experts” wanted,  Americans, who work for a living, have responded enthusiastically to Trump’s down-to-earth opinions and respect and like Trump.  These Americans have propelled Trump to the nomination.  And, since Hillary Clinton will be the only other “choice”, Will had better get on board…..and soon.  Or, his freedom to keep his large paycheck,  his freedom to carry a gun, and his freedom to speak his mind freely might be at risk.

When the only alternative candidate is Hill the Pill, it is a losing proposition to not support the Republican nominee, Trump.  Pretending that you are “better” or more “knowledgeable” than the average American voter is also a losing proposition.  Romney, Ryan, Will, and all those other so-called Republicans are dooming this country with their childish demonstrations of arrogance.  It’s as if they can’t understand the real choices this election presents with:  the Supreme Court needing a new Justice; the Federal Debt at an all time high; the economy at an all-time low; the American spirit as low as is can be; people out of work and no options; the increase of violence; and the widening scope of radical islamic terrorism.

So, please, all you Republicans — especially Romney, Ryan and even poor Will — get on the band wagon or you will be lost in the dust of the Trump train.  Yes, you will be losers.  After all, even Republicans can be losers.  Just don’t let our Republican nominee lose because you are too mean-spirited to honor your commitment to support the nominee of our party!

Candy Crowley, Lieberal Moderator!

Candy Crowley, of CNN, is the moderator for the second Presidential debate tomorrow night.  A moderator is:

mod·er·a·tor

noun

1.

a person or thing that moderates. 2.a person who presides over a panel discussion on radio or television.
BOTH CAMPAIGNS agreed to having a moderator.  BUT, the moderator is NOT supposed to interject herself/himself into the discussion.  The TOWNHALL AUDIENCE is supposed to be the center for questions to the candidates.
Ah, well.  Candy is obviously a Lieberal and, as such, SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES!

CNN anchor Candy Crowley arrives at the White House for a state dinner in honor of South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and his wife Kim Yoon-ok in Washington on Oct. 13, 2011

11:10 p.m. E.T.

In a rare example of political unity, both the Romney and Obama campaigns have expressed concern to the Commission on Presidential Debates about how the moderator of this Tuesday’s town hall has publicly described her role, TIME has learned.

While an early-October memorandum of understanding between the Obama and Romney campaigns suggests that CNN’s Candy Crowley would play a limited role in the Tuesday-night session, Crowley, who is not a party to that agreement, has done a series of interviews on her network in which she has suggested that she will assume a broader set of responsibilities. As Crowley put it last week, “Once the table is kind of set by the town-hall questioner, there is then time for me to say, ‘Hey, wait a second, what about X, Y, Z?’”

Since when does a journalist have the authority to unilaterally change the rules?  When did Candy Crowley become the Supreme Moderator, in charge of determining what the rules actually mean?  Are we back to Clinton’s “depends upon the meaning of ‘is’ ” ?????????

If you watched the VP debate, you witnessed another Lieberal, Joe Biden, who decided HE didn’t have to follow the rules either!  He hectored, interrupted CongressmanPaul Ryan’s answers (82 times), and was consistently in Ryan’s face.   He didn’t even follow the precept of telling the Truth!   The “facts” offered by Joe Biden turned out to be lies.  He didn’t graduate from Law School in the upper ranks.  He DID vote for the war resolutions.  He DID know about security concerns at Benghazi.

Even Martha Raddatz believed herself to be above the rules — she interrupted Paul Ryan 35 times, according to one “counter”.

It’s a mystery why Lieberals believe they can rewrite the rules to suit their perception of reality.  But, then,   President Obama  has rewritten his own personal history to make it more to his liking!  So, what can you expect from Lieberals?  Unfortunately, it’s more of the same — until their perception becomes reality through sheer repetition and voter fatigue.

Candy Crowley plans to organize the next Presidential debate to HER liking.  Candy  is definitely a Lieberal.

It’s a Republican storm….

But, the Democrats want to rain on the RNC’s parade!  They are afraid that, if Americans can actually hear Republicans, it will be bye-bye, Democrats!

So:

Democrats are egging Occupy protestors to disrupt the RNC convention.

The DNC chairwoman travels to Tampa and then, refuses to let conservatives ask her questions.

President Obama and his media hooligans at MSNBC and ABC and CBS do their pseudo “fact-checking” and loudly proclaim that conservatives are lying.  As if they would recognize a lie, even if it hit them in the face!

Well, let the Democrats carry on their smear campaign.  The Republicans will continue to stand on the moral high ground.

So, despite hurricane Isaac and our concern for those in its path;  it’s happy days again for those of us who want fiscal responsibility in Washington, D.C.

Let the Democrats whine because  we’re singing a happy song ….. Obama and his cronies are on the way out.

No more taxpayer funded stimulus for Obama’s buddies.  No more government seizing our individual liberties.  No more golf by the President while fellow Americans are desperate for employment.

Oh, yes, it’s a Republican storm moving in.  And, it’s a Perfect Storm!

Republicans? What’s not to like?

While the run-of-the-mill media continues to insult, denigrate, mock, and, generally, act like Lieberal fools when discussing the Republican candidates for President, voters should be asking themselves, “What’s not to like about the Republican candidates for President?”

The Democrats have no choice of candidate because only President Obama is running for the Democrat’s nomination.  He has, unfortunately, proven to be as inexperienced, contrary, aloof, and incompetent as many of us feared he would be.  It would be difficult, if not impossible, to name one program that he has initiated or backed that has helped our fellow Americans find a job or that decreased the National Debt.  The Stimulus was such a failure that few Democrats will even let the word pass their lips.  And, then, there is Solyndra….not only expected to fail, but it did;  and, now, there are charges of insider bias AND those employees are going to receive compensation for the failure of their company.  And, guess who is paying for their tab?

Compared to Obama, almost anyone would be better as President.  Fortunately, the Republicans have chosen a few good men, and one good woman.  Let’s consider the wide range of choices that voters have on this side of the ticket.

Romney — a proven businessman;  a very good, former Governor;  a very moral guy;  a true family man;  and, while he has changed his mind on some issues, isn’t that all part of maturing and understand new and different circumstances?  So, a plus in terms of voters’ choice.

Cain — a proven businessman;  a very decent man;  a man with a sense of humor who isn’t afraid to laugh at his own mistakes;  a family man;  another very good choice.

Gingrich — former Speaker of the House;  very informed on a variety of issues;  and one with the ability to understand historical precedents…good choice.

Bachman — Representative from Minnesota;  extremely focused on conservative issues;  well-spoken;  a woman whose time should come soon, if not now…good choice.

Paul — Representative for ever; conservative in his soul;  true to the conservative viewpoint…good choice.

Perry — Governor of a very successful state in economic terms;  principled;  extremely focused on returning America to the people, not the politicians;  his mistakes…who doesn’t make some mistakes?  All in all…..another very good choice.

There are other candidates running, but you get the idea. Critics see the variety of candidates as proof that the electorate doesn’t back one or the other.  Those critics are wrong.  Actually, the Republicans are presenting a wealth of riches for the voter in terms of choices with  the wide number of candidates.

So, I repeat.  What’s not to like about the Republican slate of candidates?

Republicans! What’s not to like?

PRINCETON, New Jersey (Reuters) – As Republicans scramble to find a strong candidate for the 2012 U.S. presidential contest, a group of Iowa Republicans met with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie on Tuesday to urge him to enter the race, despite his stated disinterest.

Half a dozen businessmen from Iowa, which holds the vital first nominating contest in the U.S. presidential race in February, met with Christie for about 2 1/2 hours over dinner at the governor’s mansion to discuss entering the contest.

Democrats must be worried about President Obama’s re-election in 2012 because they are already demonizing every, single, Republican candidate who appears.  And, they repeat the mantra that “there is no front-runner in the Republican party” and, “gosh, golly, gee, Obama is SUCH a likeable guy…..”.

Well, maybe Obama is a nice guy.  But, you know what?  There are a LOT of conservative politicians who are pretty likeable people, too.  There are a lot of voters who like Mitt Romney……..apparently $10,000,000 worth in Vegas.  Pawlenty is a conservative whom even the Democrats in Minnesota voted into office.  Then, there’s the effervescent Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman.  The Republican party is well stocked with likeable people.  And, if Chris Christie enters the race, that just adds to the glitter of the conservative candidates.

Personally, while I want to like my President even as I approve of his choices, likeability should not be the primary attribute of the President.  Experience, character, strong moral values, AND an appreciation for all that America stands for and the ability to defend our country should be more important.  I believe President Obama still lacks these qualities and is doing irreparable harm to our country and our children’s and grandchildren’s futures.  I believe that we need to elect a President in 2012 who is a strong leader with high moral values.

However,  if likeability is the main criteria, Republicans are well represented with Romney, Bachman, Pawlenty, Palin, Johnston, and maybe Chris Christie.  With all these candidates, and Obama’s abysmal record, what’s not to like in the Republican roster?
