Hillary — her inexperience showing in Europe

http://www.reuters.com/article/worldNews/idUSTRE5253XS20090306?sp=true

Oh, what the heck.  We know the President is inexperienced and needs a teleprompter to answer questions.  Now, it turns out that his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton,  is also showing her inexperience in Europe.  Well, they make a good team of misfits!

Lindsay Graham, an Opportunist

Lindsay Graham was once a respected representative when he was one of the forces behind the impeachment of former President Clinton.  At the time, he railed against the immorality of Bill’s actions while in the White House.  Of course, more than immoral, Clinton’s sexual harassment of an employee was a Federal crime, but, hey, let’s ignore that!  Washington, D.C. did.

How the times change.  With the new administration installed, Lindsay now calls Bill’s wife, Senator Clinton, one of the most knowledgable and capable people to be Secretary of State.  Wow!  From accusations about her White Water dealings  that were derailed by political forces to suspicions of being involved in the death of Vince Foster to stealing silverware — another criminal act that was hidden “under the table” — now she is suddenly a hot commodity.  And, Lindsay is right there on her team.

Politics makes me sick.  Almost all of those in Washington, D.C., are not there to serve the American public, but to enhance their own prospects of fame and fortune.  Lindsay Graham is such a man.  I have lost all respect for this Senator Graham.  He is  one of the new, and many, opportunists in Washington, D.C.

You go, Girl!

An editorialist today suggested that Senator Clinton is not qualified to be Secretary of State in the new administration.  Although obviously true, it is irrelevant.  Experience is no longer a prerequisite for anything in America.  Nope.  If you’re a minority, we will pump up your qualifications until you meet job specifications.  If you’re a minority, you can be President….even when you have no legislative — or any other — experience.

Let’s be realistic.  When the Democratic party rallied behind the least experienced, least knowledgable candidate in the history of our country, they ignored the need for experience!  It’s true that Hillary has no experience in foreign affairs, except for those little tea parties she attended as First Lady.  But, why should the Secretary of State specs be any more challenging than those for the President?    Neither Obama nor Hillary have any experience in running a country or running to foreign countries with our policies, but, in today’s America, that apparently has no bearing on who is the best person for a job.

I can’t say that I have ever supported Hillary for anything.  But,  if it takes her out of the country, as Secretary of State duties will do, I say, “You go, Girl!”
