Send in the Clowns

In a never-ending circus of attempts to promote governmental control over every aspect of our lives, ironically,  Democrats are reneging on what might have been the only bi-partisan bill to come out of Congress this year — the jobs bill.

I have no complaint with them deciding against such a bill because I believe that, if they truly want more jobs, all they have to do is cut governmental regulation and taxes.  The natural talents and creativeness of Americans will do the rest.  Anyone who has ever used or bought a Popeil product, like the Buttoneer, knows that inventors will invent something to fill every single need, even a need that you might not know about!  Jobs flow from creativity;  but, creativity is stifled by heavy-handed rules and regulations from government.  Anyone who has attempted to open a small business and faced the permits, fees, and  tax structure for small business can see the challenge.

However, if Congress is working on a jobs bill.  Let it be a jobs bill and not a “who gets what” bill.  Already I see that the black caucus is promoting a jobs program that discriminates against non-blacks… that is, a jobs bill that gives something to someone merely because they are BLACK.  That discriminatory aspect is common to legislation, but should be stopped.  Employers should hire the best person for the job, even if that person doesn’t fit some governmental formula for ethnicity!

But, Congress has never been known to use common sense.  They buy future votes with our tax dollars, then bemoan the Federal deficit, as though the deficit popped out of the hat of a circus magician.  It’s obvious that the days of promising away our tax dollars has come and gone and there are no more rabbits for Congress  to pull out of a hat to save our financial health.

So, what’s to follow the three ring circus, known as Congress?  We know taxes will go up.  We know unemployment will go up.  We know our future financial well-being will go down.

Everyone knows our economy is dying, thanks to Congress’ lack of judgment and their continued zeal for spending our tax dollars.  What we need in Congress are people who know what REAL work involves….like your circus performers or your plumbers or your police or fire department.  What we need are REAL people who do REAL jobs.

What we need are good, hard-working legislators, not the buffoons we have now.  Congress doesn’t seem to know how to fix our economy, nor unemployment nor our national security, so their act is a failure.  Maybe the only solution now is to follow the circus. When an act goes bad in the circus, they send in the clowns to cover the mistakes.  So “send in the clowns….no, wait….they’re here”!

It’s totally fine to discriminate against whites, men and anyone else they feel fit. There’s that double standard that would be laughable if it didn’t have these kinds of consequences.

I have never in my life heard such garbage as what I hear comming from the Republican Party these days. First of all, this party single handedly destroyed the economic strength of this country, and if you can’t see that, you are BLIND, and Ignorant!!

Secondly, The Republican Party has knowledge of this. Yet they continue to wag the DOG, and expect the american people to buy it. Well dummies, guess what? WE DON’T buy it!! I voted Repubican all of my life untill I experienced what Dumbo did. You know him as G.W. Bush, and daddy as well. I will never vote repo again. And what’s this infatuation with Sarah. She is stupid! A quiter, and can’t seem to manage her own household, with a 10 year old pregnant daughter, what makes you people think we are dumb enough to vote for her? I would not give her a job as dog catcher. Every time I think of her, all I can hear is “I know some things about foreign relations, why, you can see Russia from my back yard”

I have news for you. Obama will be around for eight years because he is single handedly repairing the damage that you slack jawed idiots did in the past eight years. You had eight years to “do your thing” and that exactly what you did. Your thing! It was all about your party and those affiliated getting rich and placing the burden on the back of the population.

The party of Republicans is over! The banter we all hear is just the Parties death throws, you know it, we know it, and the rest of the globe knows it, and this is why you are screaming so loud. The party is over guys, your support is gone, you have no edge, your lies are exposed.

I am so glad that I can know that my country is in the right hands finally!

Just go away. I promise, nobody will miss you except China, after all you are the ones who put America on the bottom and china on top. Rest assured, it will not stay that way, we will rise, we will endure, we will make america the great country we were before the rise of the Republican party.

Your comments are pretty strong for someone who doesn’t know me. And, sometimes, there’s no arguing with a zealot, but I’ll sure try. I would hazard a guess that you are not now, nor ever have, voted Republican. We have. We have also voted for Conservatives and Independents. We have also donated to ALL of the separate parties because we choose our candidates based on individual qualities, not party line. That would seem to make my views more tolerant than yours?!

    So, to begin your re-education.

1-Did you actually read Sarah’s book, “Going Rogue” ????? I did. The remark attributed to her about seeing Russia was not HERS, but the commentator’s comment AFTER the interview! I don’t think she will be a candidate because the press has a hate-hate view of her and, even when she’s right, they will spin it poorly, just as they did years ago for Dan Quayle.

2-The Republicans did not destroy the economy. The war against terrorism did set us back. And, it was a just war. Only if you believed that Saddam and his minions should have been allowed to suppress women, rape women, stone women for adultery — which after all is a joint venture, or keep young girls out of schools, would you agree that America should have stayed out of that horrible mess.

3-You must be wearing blinkers if you still trust Obama and the Democrats. Democrats and President Obama are quick to blame Bush for everything and very shy to acknowledge that they held the Senate, House, AND the presidency and all they did was spend, spend, spend. And, it was OUR money and that of our children and grandchildren. And, even worse, they cut sweetheart deals to buy votes….and, that was just the ones we heard about. In survey after survey, Americans do NOT support the health care “reform”, as visualized by Democrats. Yet, Democrats are spending our tax dollars to convince us we SHOULD support it and still determined to ram it down our throats.

And, if you believe that the country is in the right hands now, you probably have a job. Many of our friends and family are desperately searching every avenue for a job. Many of them have given up after many, fruitless job searches. What about that deficit which Obama and his minions, the Democrats, keep feeding and nourishing? To date, the stimulus (or now, the euphemistically labeled jobs bill) has not produced a single, verifiable job unless you count “saved” jobs! Oh, yes, I forgot those jobs they claim were created at a cost of $140,000 per job. First, there is no way to measure a “saved” job and, even if we could, at that rate, we could, and should, have just GIVEN two people $70,000 and let them stimulate the economy. The only sector where job growth is occurring is in government — and that is most likely thanks to all the new czars.

There is no way to tell if Obama will make another term. Right now, he is busy handing more of our tax dollars over to a variety of states, notably Nevada where Senator Reid might be in re-election trouble.

It is typical of people who hate conservatives to say, “go away”. Unfortunately for you, I have lived here my entire life and have been a bonus to this community in a variety of ways, including as a wife, mother, teacher, volunteer, and as someone who has donated a LOT of money to various charities and churches. Maybe you should try to consider even conservatives as individuals, not just as someone with a different philosophy whom you can hate!
