Anyone remember when that Democratic senator was caught with those documents and money in his house, and everyone in Congress went poo-poo because how dare they entice him and search his home. Now that it’s a Republican, I know, no one will come to his backing, and everyone will say Republicans are bad. You can’t have it both ways liberals. Well, I guess you think you can. Support the troops, but not the war. What about supporting the troops that have already perished, and not pulling out after they died for what they thought was right?
Now Wisconsin is trying to pass this universal healthcare deal. What a bunch of retards running their mouths at what they think will work. How will this honestly help business and people who already have healthcare? If the standard of care is not going to drop, how will working Wisconsinites be paying less when they are paying for more people? Simple math people. If there are 10 hard working Wisconsinites that pay for their own healthcare, they are in theory, paying for 10 people, right? So now add 10 free loaders, illegals and any other miscreants who want free healthcare. That now means those 10 workers pay for 20 people instead of 10. With equal coverage and quality, that’s going to increase the cost. Plus we all know how once the government runs something, it either takes a nose dive, or it costs 20 times the ammount it would in the private sector.
Whatever happened to the idea that we were the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave? We now seem to be the Land of the Freeloaders and Home of the Minority (getting whatever they want…). We used to be a capitalist country, and that’s what made us better and stronger than any challenger. Now with the liberals trying to tell me how to spend my money, where has the capitalism gone? People do need help, and there are some programs that do infact, help. But I will not sit here and let some liberal tell me this bullshit that some illegal immigrant should be able to come into my country, and have a baby at my expense. I’m going to school to do what? I guess to earn money to pay for people who do not go to school and want to ride my coat tails so they have an easy life. Go home illegals, no one wants you here, and get a job you welfare free loaders.
Mr. Knowledge out.
Whose dollar bill is that in your wallet? Is it yours? Or, is it your elected representative’s?
If Hillary has her way, it will be hers. She believes that any imbalances of income should be “corrected” by robbing you to pay your neighbor’s bills. Of course, she doesn’t say this very often.
If Congress has its way, each Senator or Representative will decide where that dollar goes, rather than you. And, the theft might happen where you will least expect it — in an earmark program. Earmarks are just Congress’ sneaky method of spending our money in a way where we won’t notice. That is why this procedure is hidden under layers of bureaucracy where you won’t see it often.
The solution to this grand larceny is to have every, single piece of legislation voted on individually, based on the legislation’s merits. Amendments must be germane to the issue of the legislation. For example, if the issue at hand is whether to demand voter identification, only an amendment that deals with the costs of such programs should be included. Neither peanut farmers in Georgia nor aircraft manufacturers in California should be allowed to tack on amendments giving them our money.
The American public is savvy enough to decide where it spends the money it earns. Congress should start acting more like our representatives than a band of thieves!
A man in this article: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/I/IMMIGRANTS_MARRIAGE_LICENSES?SITE=WIFON&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT
said, “We want to get married, but we’ll have to wait until they change the law” — The funny part is that he wants to marry his girlfriend who, according to the article, is here ILLEGALLY.
How about we enforce our current laws before allowing people who are here ILLEGALLY to marry!?!?!
Today’s press conference by President Bush once again highlighted David Gregory’s absolute disdain for the Presidency and our President. Although Mr. Gregory might justify his insulting questions as being “hard-hitting”; in fact, the comments he makes are more in the line of a political diatribe than a real question.
So, what does it matter if a liberal journalist routinely insults the President? If you’re a liberal, you see nothing wrong with harassing a President who is known to be honest and hard-working. If you’re a liberal, you want to see President Bush humiliated in order to project your own philosophy rather than realizing that such divisive tactics harm our country and our military. If you’re a liberal, you just want to win, regardless of the cost to the country.
For the rest of the American population, Mr. Gregory’s animus toward President Bush is just another opportunity lost by the media to ask about issues that affect Americans and our well-being. In Mr. Gregory’s “in your face”, take-no-prisoners approach, we see a man bent on forcing his own views down the throat of everyone else, including us and the President of the United States.
Let’s face it. Mr. Gregory’s attitude sounds a lot like some other hoodlums we all know and fear — the radical, Islamic terrorists!
